2014 Kia K3 Spied Fully Uncamouflaged

Kia K3 Spyshots

Here are the first un-camouflaged spy shots of the Kia K3, also known as the Kia Cerato in certain markets.

Kia plans to globally reveal the new Kia Forte by the end of this year, and it will go on sale in its domestic market as the Kia K3 this year as well.

We expect powering this range will be a 1.6l petrol with 128 ps and a rumoured new 1.8l engine with around 180 ps.

Alfa’s SUV / Crossover Spy shots.

Here are the latest spyshots of the Alfa Romeo Crossover, which has its sights set on competing with the Land Rover Evoque and Ford’s Kuga.

The Prototype Test mule is based on Alfa Giulietta body and dare I say it the front is a Jeep, but hey it is only an early production mule and being produced in collaboration with Jeep.

We expect the power to be delivered by the current range of petrol and diesel Alfa engines.

If the marriage from the styling gurus at Alfa and the off road expertise at jeep they might just have a Kuga beater.

Jaguar’s F-Type R Spyshots

Here are the latest spyshots of not one but two different specifications of the rumoured Jaguar’s F-Type R which can be distinguished by the quad exhaust layout compared with the center mounted twin pipes on the lesser powered model.

Also spotted was one of the earlier mules of the F-Type which can be identified by the enlarged wheel arches.

Jaguar have confirmed the roadster will be available with a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine in two different power outputs one with 380HP with 460Nm and 340HP with 450Nm.

This car seems to be housing something slightly more powerfull from its V8 ForceFed Growl so rumour is a foot that this car could be housing the “R” family engine the supercharged 5.0-liter V8.

2013 Range Rover – Spyshots Less Camouflage

Here are the latest spyshots of not one but three different prototypes of the 2013 Range Rover all of which in different stages of Camouflage.

No more heavy cladding that hides all the lines and details, now there are only light stickers giving most of the details such as the new head lights, air intakes and so away. We can also notice that the engine hood is more rounded then before and that the grille is more upright.

The platform which is being developed here will be the same platform used with the Discovery range and is the first proper weight reduction exercise with this chassis.

This chassis features a lightweight, rivet-bonded aluminium chassis and various other manufacturing composites throughout the car hinted at reducing the car by nearly 400KG.

This is expected to equate to achieving around 34mpg from its lightened chassis.

All these cars are diesel powered and we expect the Sport to turn up later this month in prototype form.

2014 Porsche 911 Turbo – First Pictures with the roof down

Here are the latest and first spyshots of the Turbo Cabriolet with the roof down showing more details of the forced induction family of the new 911.

The latest generation ‘991’ has already been released in normally aspirated engines and this will follow on from the legendary 911 Turbo.

The new 911 Turbo Cabriolet should come onto the market as a 2013 model complete with a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, wide rear arches.

An advanced tri-turbo setup has been reported as a possibility, with the addition of the third turbocharger aimed at improving low-end response but this could be the first practical application of KERS in a road going Porsche.

Mini Countryman Coupe – Spyshots

It looks like the Countryman coupé concept is off the drawing board at Mini’s design studio in Munich.

Here are the latest spyshots of what looks like a production prototype of the Mini’s answer to Range Rovers Evoque.

Strangely looking at the prototype pictured here it looks like the hint of suicide doors have been canned and they have gone for a 3 door variant unless Mini are hiding a further prototype in the Mini Research and Development center in Munich.

This will probably be the last revision of the current mini range on the old platform with the all new Mini allready appearing in prototype form.

2013 Mercedes E-Class – Facelift Spyshots

Here we have caught one of the anticipated models of 2013 the E-Class estate in facelift form.

The camouflage over the bonnet hints that the front will recieve the major changes with only the rear headlights under light camo.

At the front we expect to see a new set of light clusters along with styling cues from the SLS and A class, powering the models will be the current range of engines.

The 2013 Porsche Macan – Suited and Booted

After an interesting day avoiding the over zealous security and numerous blair witch project expeditions: We have the Porsche Macan spyshots, the new baby SUV from the German sportscar manufacturer based on a revised Audi Q5 platform.

This is a production prototype unlike the hidden underwear in the many mule prototypes spotted earlier on this year and last.

Surprisingly this is very light on the camouflage compared to many of the other prototypes spotted and it looks like Porsche have managed to improve on Audi styling and look lower than the current Q5.

It is early stages to talk about engine option but we suspect there will be a range of petrol engines at launch along with Diesel and hybrids to follow..
