Mercedes Benz CLS – Shooting Brake Shows its Rear

Here are the latest spyshots of the 2014 CLS Shooting brake sporting less camouflge and now showing more curves.

Powering the brown car we suspect is the 250 CDI Blueefficiency with around 204hp at 4400 RPM, compared to the red car the engine will be a spiritedly powered V6 with 306hp and both cars will sprint to 62mph in under 8 seconds.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels via the 7G-Tronic Plus 7-speed automatic transmission with steering column gear selector (Direct Select), and Speedtronic cruise control with gearshift paddles

The original Mercedes-Benz Shooting Brake Concept debuted back in 2010 at the Bejing Auto Show. The model we see in our photos look very similar to the original concept, so its clear Mercedes’ designers have been hard at work.

The Car will be shown at the 2012 Paris Motorshow.

Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake – Winter Spyshots

Here are the latest spyshots of the upcoming CLS Shootingbrake which will be inveiled at this years Geneva Motorshow.

Powering the Mercedes CLS will be a combination of both Diesel and Petrol engines same as the official CLS, the BlueEfficiency models will have impressive MPG and emissions.

The rangetopping AMG variant will be housing a 5.5 litre V8 Biturbo with around 525 Horsepower and mated to a variant of the AMG Speedshift MCT 7-speed, and is touted to be around 28 miles per gallon.

Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake Spyshots (Updated SpyVideo)

Here are the latest CLS spy shots in white, with the front uncamouflaged and it seems unchanged from the CLS Saloon.

We expect the back to be close to the concept with some exclusive led encrusted cluster and the chrome detailing around the rear’s sharp curves.

The only thing we expect to be toned down from the concept is the interior and the instrument clusters.

We expect the Mercedes new twin-turbocharged 4.6l Litre V8 to be the engine at launch, and we expect an AMG variant late in 2012.
