Nissan Middle East is now offering a new version of the GT-R in the GCC. It is being dubbed as the 2012 Nissan GT-R VVIP edition based on the Egoist version with a different coloured trim.
It is the customised version of the updated 2011-2012 GT-R, with more power and more luxurious cabin upholstery.
The VVIP edition includes the revised 530 hp GT-R engine and adds a high degree of customer personalisation for the interior leather upholstery. The GT-R in these Nissan-supplied photos show a car with white leather upholstery with golden highlights, as well as dealer-installed gold-plated grilles and ‘VVIP’ badges.
The 2011 Nissan GT-R facelifted model has been seen in a state of undress at the Nurburgring. The pictures show the production ready mule with almost fully revealed, letting the details about the new detailing at the front and back more obvious.
The bumper at the front of the car has got some additional wind spoiling ripples, and the front grill has been reworked on the car.
At the back, vents have been added in the rear bumper fascia behind the rear wheelsto aid the cooling of the tailpipes which sit close to the bumper.
The facelifted version of both GTR will be released in the first part of 2011 and probably be seen at the Frankfurt IAA later this year.
Nissan Motorsports International Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Minami-Ooi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuichi Sanada; henceforth “NISMO”) announced that NISMO just signed the official partnership agreements for the FIA GT1 World Championship with Sumo Power GT (UK) and Swiss Racing Team (CH).
Both teams will run two NISSAN GT-Rs respectively in the World Championship. NISMO will provide technical support to its new racing partners.
