Mercedes AMG SLS Black Series (On Fire!!)

AMG SLS Black-Series Fire
Here are the latest spyshot’s of the upcoming flagship version of the SLS dubbed the unmistakable AMG SLS Black-Series.

The Black Series has been spotted several times. But today we got it with the front totally without cammo and sporting a very large fixed wing.

And only the day after the new family of the AMG Black Series, caught fire on the Nordschleife while testing.

Initial reports this was simply an engine fire but after completing nearly a full lap, It looks like this could be from the rear brakes.

The driver escaped without any injuries, but the prototype has died a warriors death and gone up in flames.

The wide arches which are shrouding the tyres have more aggressive nature, and housing larger tyres than the standard SLS, rumored with a weight reduction of around 45 kg, and rumor has it that this will only be available as the gullwing.

The huge scoops on the front hint of the use of forced induction but this is unlikely the case, as the naturally aspirated 6.2 liter v-8 is hinted to have a few more tricks up its elongated sleeve and perhaps will be an engineered increased capacity of 6.4 along with improvements in weight and updated gearbox it is likely to exceed 600hp.

Lamborghini Aventador “Wipeout” Spyshots

Here are a set off pictures we don’t come across often it shows the current model Lamborghini Aventador testing in the extreme cold climates of Northern Sweden.

After our previous photographs of the Aventador Roadster we thought we had an opportunity in better light to snap the car.

As the car approached the intersection, at a speed that appeared faster than the posted speed limit, the driver lost control, skidded through the intersection and crashed into a large snow bank.

Then the red faced Italian test driver took offence from this rather legendary photo opportunity and approached in an aggressive manner apart from a comedy slippery advance.

The time he got to us he realised that this wasn’t the streets of Corleone and basically retreated back to the vehicle after a few mutterings.

By the time an Audi A6 allroad, equipped with a winch, came to pull the raging bull out of the snow, things had calmed down.

The driver scooped the snow out of the car, gave us a large smile and a big thumbs up, and got back to work! Not exactly the finger we were expecting to see.

Fortunately, the driver, and the car, came away from the mishap totally unharmed.
