Mansory Lotus Evora – Confirmed Geneva

After many reports of an Evora facelift under progress from british sportscar outfit Lotus, this turns out to be false.

Instead they are partnering with Mansory who have created the usual masterpiece of automotive beauty by usage of carbon fiber the trade mark of mansory and to be on show at the 2011 Geneva Motorshow.

The UK sports car band is quite clear concerning the rumours on a new Evora facelift and the release of the Mansory Evora. Lotus states:

“Let’s be clear on this: contrary to media reports, what you’ll see in Geneva is NOT an Evora facelift. It’s a taste of the future of Lotus product customisation. Merely the first toe in the water and a showcase of the potential future.”

At last last years Geneva Motor Show Mansory revealed the Rolls Royce and Aston Martin all I can add is I am glad they ran out of blue lacquer.

No word to whether this will be on the Mansory stand or on the Lotus Stand at Geneva…

MANSORY CYRUS – #Geneva World Exclusive

Another Carbon based offering on show on the Mansory Stand at the 80th Geneva Motorshow.

Already for more than 20 years, the Bavarian company MANSORY has been developing and producing fascinating car modifications for demanding customers all over the world. Perfect processing and elaborate technology are the hallmarks of this exclusively tuned car which is limited to only 15 pieces. A coilover suspension provides the best road holding and emphasises the striking rims in XXL. The refinement is perfected by an exclusive interior programme.

Haute Couture on wheels Tailor-made processing and perfect surfaces confirm the superb quality of the MANSORY carbon outfit with the eye-catching gold-texture. The CYRUS aerodynamics components are made of extremely light „prepreg autoclav carbon“ and do not only include wing extensions for the front and back, but also side skirt attachments and linings. At the front axle, a newly designed front skirt with enlarged air inlets provides the optimal ventilation for the twelve-cylinder aggregate.

The CYRUS front is visually enhanced with the newly designed carbon bonnet. With its two slotted “power domes” additional fresh air is directed to the front motor. Also at the tail, the refining engineers have invented something extraordinary in order to perfect the visual appearance of the Aston Martin. The newly designed rear skirt with the integrated diffuser emphasises the superior look and provides space for four stainless steel end pipes of the sonorous sport exhaust system. Design wheels in XXL The optimal road grip is provided by the 9×20 and 10,5×21 inch rims in combination with Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres measuring 255/30ZR20 at the front and 295/25ZR21 at the back.

The design of the ultra-light forged wheel thereby unites sportiness and elegance and perfectly fills out the wheel houses. In addition, an optimally adjusted coilover suspension lowers the centre of gravity of this noble sports car and renders perfect road holding characteristics.

Kourosh Mansory puts a designer piece on wheels. Together with celebrity fashion designer Philipp Plein, the automobile refiner MANSORY turns the Mercedes-Benz G-class into a luxury vehicle class of its own in a limited edition of only seven cars. Only very few people will be able to enjoy this unique automobile. The edition is strictly limited to only seven cars.

So far, Philipp Plein is renowned around the world for his fashion and furniture. Now, he tailors a new robe for the Mercedes-Benz G 55 AMG together with the top-class refiner MANSORY. In co-operation with the engineers in Brand close to Bayreuth / Bavaria, the famous designer has developed an exterior that embodies the typically self-confident character of all MANSORY automobiles.

The new tailored suit of the G-model impresses both visually and also technically. The entire exterior up to the lower window edge and the roof of the SUV are made of carbon. But the ultra-light and high-strength material is not enough for MANSORY and its aspired exclusiveness. By using the autoclave-prepreg-method, the carbon is compressed so strongly in a special pressure chamber that no more air inclusions remain in the material. Normally, this processing method is only used in aviation and aerospace, as it is very cost-intensive.

But MANSORY does not accept any compromise when it comes to quality.
The refiner also puts the same emphasis into the engine modification. MANSORY replaces the majority of the components with high-performance components from the Mercedes-Benz SLR. This extensive modification leads to impressive 700 hp (515 kW) with the MANSORY G-Couture instead of the serial 507 hp (373 kW) of the G 55 AMG. The maximum torque rises from 700 to 880 Newton metres.

In order to transmit this enormous power to the road, the luxury refiner equips the G-Couture with four high-performance tyres Pirelli Scorpion in the dimension 305/35 R 23. They are carried by new, one-part SUV-rims in 23 inches which MANSORY presents at their world premiere.
