Lamborghini presents the new Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster:
The most exciting series production Lamborghini ever built and the new benchmark in the world of open-top luxury super sports cars.
On the heels of the successful coupe introduced in Summer 2011, and with over 1,300 units already delivered to customers, the House of the Raging Bull is now offering the convertible version of the Aventador, a vehicle that perfectly balances the ultimate driving experience with the ultimate in sports car sophistication.
The new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster can immediately be recognized by the unique profile of its upper area, which extends along newly designed geometric lines from the removable roof to the engine hood. The Roadster’s design is the result of a careful study into the best way of combining performance, elegant style, ease of use and a driving experience that excites all five senses.
The two-piece roof is made entirely from carbon fiber using various technologies such as RTM and Forged Composite®. These technologies guarantee maximum aesthetic performance and stiffness although each component is extremely light, weighing less than 6 kg.
These two parts are removable, easy to handle, and being lightweight and simple to attach, can be stored in the front luggage compartment. In just a few seconds the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster can be admired in all its luxurious beauty. The rear pillar has been redesigned to offer total support for the removable roof, accommodate an automatic protection system for passengers, and provide the engine compartment with ample ventilation. The guys across at motor-authority have found out that Toyota’s Motorsport division (TMG) will unveil the Lexus LS 650 prototype at the Essen Motor Show on the 1st of December.
We Spotted this car at the Nurburgring’s industry pool last year and has not been spied since, the car was surprisingly not camouflaged but perhaps a lot of changes to the car have been made, including aggressive wheel arches and the addition of carbon splitters.
As you can see from the photos it has got bonnet vents and huge brakes along with a rear spoiler.
BMW this week have shown the BMW M6 Gran Coupe at a private unveiling at the Nurburgring in Germany.
Even though the pictures don’t really reveal much from the spy shot’s taken last year, whilst undergoing extreme cold weather testing.
It does show us the finished article hidden under the camouflage, one thing was a surprising that the car is sporting a carbon fiber roof along with some more carbon detailing throughout the car although we are not sure of the option list on this private display, but the car also had Ceramic Brakes which hints at this being the M-Drivers-Package M6 Gran Coupe. One thing you can say about Petter Solberg he has a determination to win, watch as Petter tries to drive himself out of a vineyard only to crash in to some live electric cable pylon at this weekends Rally of France.
By the reports there were no casualties but it looks like the people had a very close shave from the live cables, 2 cars were caught by the falling electric cables.
Not everyday you get an insight in to the life and the vocabulary of a Trucker, but here is some poetic justice where a lane Hog gets his self in trouble from the law.
Not only is the driver oblivious to the fact hes got a smokey on his tail the driver decides to retaliate by applying his brakes, unfortunately for him this has probably landed him in trouble from the police.
Anyway enjoy the video but please be warned the Trucker is gifted with the most foul grasp of the English profanity, even would make Mel Gibson Cringe.
