5008 voted MPV of the Year
In a stunning start to its 200th year, Peugeot has scored a magnificent hat trick in the prestigious 2010 What Car? Car of the Year Awards, winning two category awards as well as the overall Car of the Year title for the standard-setting Peugeot 3008 Crossover.
The 3008 is compact and spacious with a host of useful driving features available such as grip control, dynamic roll control, a heads-up display, distance alert and Hill Assist automatic electric parking brake. It successfully combines the best features of a saloon car, MPV, SUV and hatchback to deliver flexibility, space, rugged looks and driveability.
3008 also respects the environment with an efficient range of engine options producing emissions starting at just 130g of CO2 per kilometre. A hybrid version, available in 2011, will push the boundaries of low-emissions family motoring even further.
In fact, the 3008 has proven such a compelling all round package that What Car? introduced a new category to accommodate it: the Crossover. Naturally, 3008 was also crowned winner of this new category.
