BMW M3 Nurburgring
The BMW M3 is beginning its prototype training and has been seen in the Death Valley in the USA, and also most recently the Nordschleife in Germany.

These shots are showing us either a very early design stage of the front bumper or the are going for a less aggressive look and this surely cant be the case, so we expect these to change form throughout next year.

Jaguar’s F-Type R Spyshots

Here are the latest spyshots of not one but two different specifications of the rumoured Jaguar’s F-Type R which can be distinguished by the quad exhaust layout compared with the center mounted twin pipes on the lesser powered model.

Also spotted was one of the earlier mules of the F-Type which can be identified by the enlarged wheel arches.

Jaguar have confirmed the roadster will be available with a 3.0-liter V6 supercharged engine in two different power outputs one with 380HP with 460Nm and 340HP with 450Nm.

This car seems to be housing something slightly more powerfull from its V8 ForceFed Growl so rumour is a foot that this car could be housing the “R” family engine the supercharged 5.0-liter V8.

2014 Maserati Quattroporte to be Powered by Ferrari

The recently spied 2014 Maserati Quattroporte is recieving two new Ferrari prepped engines as part of an partnership with Fiat.

The all new saloon will be offered with a 420 hp Supercharged V 6 and a 520 hp Twin turbo V8.

Both powerunits will be available with a ZF-sourced eight-speed servo actuated paddleshift transmission, Rumour has it the manual is to be discontinued.

We expect that also due to the weight reduction and a hinted reduction of around 200kg the 0-60 time on both cars will be under 5 seconds.

Expect to see a preview at the 2013 Detroit MotorShow.

F80 BMW M Powered 3 Series Winter Spyshots

Here are the latest spyshots of the next generation F80 BMW M3 Sedan undergoing winter testing in Sweden.

Compared to the previous spyshots, the M3 prototype has lost a some camouflage – showing the rear light clusters as it will look when the car enters production some time this year.

The engine is a topic for much rumor and is expected to be a 3.3l V6 Twin Turbo with an electronic KERS device which is the apparent third turbocharger.
We expect the power to be around 450hp with also additional chassis and engine weight reduction we expect this to be the fastest M3 yet.

Expect a public debut sometime after summer perhaps at the Frankfurt IAA in Production Concept form.

Kia K9 – Winter Spyshots

The Kia K9 Prototype has been spied in Sweden, the Kia K9 will be the new successor to the Opirus in South Korea as Kia’s flagship model, and will extend their K5 – K7 line. It will be styled to have the same look of the German manufacturers, thanks to chief designer Peter Schreyer.

It shares its chassis ant the transmission platform as the rear wheel propelled Hyundai Genesis sedan.

Powering this line of car will be a choice of one of three engines:-

3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 333hp
5.0-liters V8 generating a respectable 429 hp.

We have no news of when this car will become official but by looks of the form and the fact its a production prototype we are expecting it to be very soon.

Range Rover Spotted in Winter Test Spyshots.

The 2012-2013 Range Rover is getting close to the final production form and is finishing its extensive test cycle in the Arctic Circle.

As you can see the clearest shots of the interior it seems to have a complete digital instrument display along with a totally modernised interior.

The aluminium chassis will weigh in around 500kg lighter than its older brother, resulting in a total weight of an impressive 2,000kg.

The powertrain will be revised as well, consisting of an 4.4 liter V8 diesel engine which offers around 320 HP and a eight-speed servo actuated gearbox.

Due to the weight reduction and advanced engine advances we expect the MPG to be similar to the larger saloon cars.

The fourth generation Range Rover will also be available with a diesel powered V6 and a more 5.0 liter supercharged V8.

We are also hearing rumours that Range Rover are testing a replacement to the supercharger and probably introducing a Tri-Turbo set up to aid its MPG targets.

I think its too early to expect a world premier of the car at Geneva but we might see a concept of the upcoming vehicle.
