Maserati MC12 – Spotted Photogallery

Maseratis MC-12 #Carfest
Unveiled at the 2004 Geneva motor show, it was a very exclusive mid-engine model originally intended to be hand-built in just 25 units, all of which sold-out before its launch. Due to the MC12’s considerable success,  immediately followed up with numerous victories in the FIA’s GT1 class, a second batch of 25 cars was built in 2005.

Designed for high level road use, the MC12 exceeded 330 kmh at full throttle, sprinting from 0 to 100 kmh in just 3.8 seconds. The MC12 benefited from the Ferrari-Maserati Group’s most advanced technologies and competition experience. Its naturally aspirated 6 litre V12 punched out 465 kW at 7500 rpm, yet offered absolutely excellent drivability, remaining exceptionally lively and fluid even at low engine speeds. An aluminium crankcase, titanium con-rods and extremely efficient fourvalve cylinder heads were all part of its design. Four gear-driven overhead camshafts provided perfect timing control. The unit was mated to Maserati’s proven six-speed Cambiocorsa transmission, offering computerised gear selection. In Race mode, the system was mapped to deliver much faster gear changes and to activate the ASR.

Ferrari Enzo – Spotted Photogallery

Ferrari Enzo
This to me is one of the most potent supercars to ever come out of Maranello, and we was graced to have an example shown to the public at the 2012 CarFest North hosted by Chris Evans for Children In Need.

Over the years Ferrari has introduced a series of supercars which have represented the very pinnacle of the company’s technological achievements transferred to its road cars. These include the GTO, F40 and F50.

Audi TT Spotted Sporting Bentley Alloys

Here is a Audi TT coupe sporting some extreme alloys from the Bentley Continental, This 2.0l TFSI powered TT was also sat only 40mm from the floor.

Due to the lack of damage from its dropped height we suspect that an HLS System is installed, where hydraulics lift and lower the car.

I think personally the extra money to fit this kit would have been spent by buying the TTS but who am I????

2011-2012 Audi A7 Spied at the Nurburgring

The 2011-2012 Audi A7 has been spotted on the Nurburgring’s Nordschleife for the first time.

Basically this is a production version of the A7 Sportback concept unvailed at the Detroit Motor Show.

This mule is heavily camouflaged but has the aerodynamic speed adjusted spoiler on show.

Engine options will likely include a 4.2-liter modified V8 as used in the R8 and B7 RS4 and the usual TDI range of powerunits.

There could also be an RS variant but nothing is confirmed as of yet expect more details at the Frankfurt Motorshow.

The racing version of the Peugeot RCZ, was built to the series production standard and according to the rules of the class D1T for turbo diesel cars up to two liters of displacement. Its 2.0-liter HDi engine makes the car 147 kW / 200 PS.
