BMW 4 Series GranCoupe – Spied!

BMW 4 Series GranCoupe
What looks like a BMW 3 series GT in full cammo in these photos is in fact the latest model in the BMW 3/4 series lineup, the 4 series GranCoupe. After looking closely we first notice the lower front end that looks to be the same as on the 4 series coupe and convertible prototypes we have seen before. The roof line is also lower and the trunk looks different.

The 4GC features the lowest and sleekest roofline, followed by the slightly taller F30 sedan, and then the GT. The 4GC will also add some centimeters in its overall length compared to the F30 sedan.

BMW 4 Series Cabriolet Roof Down – First Pictures. (F33)

Here are the first pictures of BMW 4 Series enjoying a much needed sunny day on the streets of Munich.

The car is still as camouflaged so it’s still difficult to make out the final design, but the fact that this has been snapped with the roof down gives us a hint of the final form.

Powering the F33 cabriolet will be the 2.0-liter turbo and the 3.0-liter turbo inline six currently used for the F30 3-series.

Both engines are rumoured to get a boost from the additional weight of the cabriolet to keep performance in-line with the non cabriolet model.

We are expecting the car to be available first quarter 2014.

BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe – Geneva 2012

After spying the m6 series Gran Coupe in Sweden earlier this week, BMW are showing up the non M powered variant of the luxury Coupe at the 2012 Geneva Autosalon.

The 6-series Gran Coupe will launch with a choice of three engines.

The entry level version will be the 640i that houses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six with 315 HP and 450 Nm of torque and will accelerate to 60mph in 5.4 seconds.

The Diesel Powered 640d Gran Coupe uses a 3.0-liter engine with 309hp and 630 Nm of torque. Performance matches the diesel variant due to the huge torque propelling it to 60mph in 5.4 seconds.

The Range topping non M powered variant is powered by the same twin turbo engine as in the current M5 and M6 but detuned to around 440hp.

This is actually clever marketing as we have previously spied the m-powered variant in northern sweden and this will be around the 550hp from its 4.4 twin turbo v8.

BMW 3 Series GT Spyshots

Here is the confirmation that the 2013 BMW 3 Series GT is on its way, the car was spied in Sweden undergoing extreme weather testing.

The GT 3 Series will have a taller stance sat on higher suspension, and the GT5 shorter overhang mated to the curved fatter arches.

External features include a split tailgate to allow access to the cargo hold, also the passengers have the luxury of more legroom in the cabin.

Powering the new GT will be the same engine range as the current 3 Series 320d, 328i and a high-performance 335i there is also rumoured to include Xdrive variants for the continent.

We expect the pricing for the entry level of around £32,000.

BMW 3 Series Touring Spyshots – Winter Test

Here are the latest and first spyshot’s of a lighter camouflaged BMW F31 3 Series Touring.

The 3 series touring follows the design as the saloon model and the lighter camouflage shows us the final form.

Powering the new 3 series will be a choice of engine with an output ranging from 184 hp and with the help of a 6 cylinder v6 the output will be 313hp.

Also planned is the M3 which is rumoured to be powered by a tri-turbo V8 which will be probably be official first quarter of 2013.
