I always like hearing stories of people chasing a motoring dream, no matter of the hassles and required documentation for car importation.
The owner of this car “Kim Are” from Norway, found the car for sale in the USA and decided that this car suited his needs as it was specifically track focused and ready to hit the Nürburgring.
After he picked the car up he took it to a Florida tuner for a once over and to get some work done, he decided it was time to ship to the Netherlands.
On arrival and within the first taster lap it was found that the suspension wasn’t up to undulant circuit on the Nordschleife, So he handed the keys to Gmaxxcars to complete a full suspension upgrade and setup for the greenhell.
Powering this rather special Z06 is a GT3 racing engine from Corvette Specialists APP Racing in the Netherlands and is capable of around 640hp as the previous engine failed at Imola,
I could carry on and tell you about the LS7 Camshaft (featuring 220/244 duration at 0.050, 0.615/0.648 lift and a 110 degree lobe separation) High lift Valve Springs Katech titanium ultra-light retainers, but this isn’t necessary as this is one serious Corvette.
This all worked out and Kim is awarded with a fantastic but tentative first few laps of the Nurburgring, in his very own piece of american muscle.
