Switzerland Record Speeding Fine £182,000

A German man with a collection of expensive sports cars has earned himself the honour of receiving the biggest fine ever for speeding in Switzerland.

The multi-millionaire was caught driving at 137 kilometres an hour in a Ferrari Testarossa which was 57km over the speed limit.

He’s been fined 300,000 francs which is approximately £182000 that’s more than double the country’s previous record. In 2008, A Zurich based banker had made headlines when he was fined 110,000 francs.

The German man a repeat offender has had his licence confiscated in the past.

His collection of five luxury sports cars includes a Ferrari Testarossa.
