This week we spied 2 examples a prototype and the final product of the Aston Martin’s one-77 showing some slight changes to the rear light clusters showing more detailing than the ones shown at Geneva.
What we saw here this week for the first time at the Nurburgring is the completely naked exterior of the most expensive and highest performing production Aston Martin ever and no longer in prototype form. Starting with the typical 6.0L V12 block, the displacement has been increased to 7.3L and the output is a staggering 750 hp. The 0-60 mph time is around three-second’s and the car’s top speed while in prototype form was 220mph.
Im hoping to find out the Nuerburgring laptimes soon but im guessing sub 7:30 by the very rough timings I took at the trackside.
Its good to see both Mclaren and Aston Martin competing again in the hypercar market and putting the British car industry back on the map.
Awesome pictures – keep ’em coming!
