2014 Rolls Royce Ghost Face-lift Spied

Rolls Royce Ghos 2014

Four years have passed since its reveal at the 2009 Frankfurt Motoshow, Rolls Royce have decided its time for a mild facelift to its current Ghost.

Well here it is and in a state of low camouflage, we can see clearly the headlight units are all new and the front bumper has some minor changes making it look more like the recently revealed Wraith in styling.

The cammo work is very well done and you have to look closely to see where the front parts are covered which could reveal some minor details hidden underneath, along with hidden exhaust pipes and redesigned mirrors.

Rolls Royce Phantom Facelift – First Spyshots

Here are the latest spyshots of the 2013 Rolls Royce Phantom facelift changes on the outside are minimal.

Changes seem to be hidden by a clever headlight sticker hiding a complete new lighting cluster and daytime running lights.

Also around the front quarter window there is some detailing hidden under the camouflage, which hints at a new arrangement.

We are expecting the same process where the chassis is dipped in 7 chemical baths to galvanise the chassis from corrosion and then off to production where the engine is fitted.

The engine will be the 6.75 L -V12 as the previous model but expected to achieve some additional fuel economy considering its current thirsty 18mpg appetite.

We expect Rolls Royce to have the worldwide unveiling at the 2012 Geneva Motorshow where the current model was shown in 2008.

I could talk about the interior options but as the class of the cars “Bespoke” program I expect it to be suitably yours.

First Rolls Royce Phantom Facelift Spyshots

The first Rolls Royce made under the BMW ownership, the Phantom has been on the market unchanged since 2003 but now it’s time for a mild facelift as we can see on these photos. L

From the untrained eye it just looks like another phantom but on closer inspection you notice that the finish around the lights are not perfect and basically stickers hiding the true changes hidden underneath.

News of the changes apart from the lights is very thin on the ground but expect more power and less CO2 from thwe revised engine, and some more interior options will obviously be added.

The pictures where taken while the distinguished gentlemen enjoyed a Kebab and washed down with fizzy fruit extracts.
